Why I became a Notary
After performing notaries for 3 years in an accounting office in Pomona, CA, I was asked to notarize some documents at a residential location in Walnut, CA. When I arrived, I was led to a back bedroom where an elderly mother was laying in bed, unable to walk and could barely move. I reviewed the documents she needed me to notarize and we completed the notary at her bedside.
She and her family who lived with her were extremely appreciative and let me know they did not know that a notary could come to their home to help her with her need to notarize her documents in time for a pending deadline. At that point, I found value and satisfaction in helping others like her and making notaries convenient for many others in similar situations.
